“L” is a humanities Ph.D. candidate at a major Texas university. She earned her B.A. in 2006 and her M.A. in 2009. Her interests include many facets of British literature and culture; poetic and narrative structures; and feminist and gender studies. In addition to writing her dissertation, L teaches rhetoric/composition and literature courses. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, L is most at home under a canopy of Douglas Firs and a drizzly grey sky. She makes do with Texas the best she can. Outdoors you may find her skiing, fishing, hiking, or camping; indoors you’ll notice her paintings, embroidery, craftwork, and her overflowing bookshelves.
